The Office for the Transference of Research Results (OTRI)The Office for the transference of Research Results of Universitat de València is a unit which facilitates and promotes collaboration between the university research world and companies from its socioeconomic environment. This general objective is accomplished in two ways:
In addition, OTRI is a member of the OTRI Network of CRUE Universities (Conference of Chancellors of Spanish Universities), which permits –through training activities and exchanges of experiences- to maintain a suitable level of specialisation in line with current needs. It is also a member in the OTRI State Network and cooperates in an active way with the Spanish Mediterranean Liasion Centre (CENEMES), set up by DGXII of the European Commission with a view to fostering innovation in the local industry through European initiatives. In order to meet such targets, OTRI carries out the following activities:

OTRI plays an important role as a technological representative of
Universitat de València by establishing links with other organisms
which are nearer the companies, such as IMPIVA (Institute of Valencian
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises), CDTI (Centre for Technical and
Industrial Development) of the Ministry of Industry, the Network of
Valencian Technological Institutes, and OTRIs from other Valencian
and Spanish universities.
