University Guidance for Disabled Students
University personal guidanceAdvice is provided on any type of psychological problem or conflict, lack of satisfaction, distress, family, education, work problems, and sexual matters. UNIVERSITY PERSONAL GUIDANCE
University Legal Guidance UnitOrientation and guidance on legal matters, such as rental contracts, employment issues, association management, or administrative law are provided. UNIVERSITY LEGAL GUIDANCE
Student aid and support programmes- Education Grant call and grant call for students from developing countries (0.7 Programme). These grants are offered to Universitat de València students with a low income. - Grant call for disabled students with special travelling needs. The grants are given to disabled students with special difficulties in getting to college from their homes. - Travel grant call. The grants are for academic activities such as seminars, courses, summer courses, conferences, meetings, and other education-related events. - Drac mobility programme (Drac summer and Drac advanced education). The university network Institut Joan Lluís Vives (IJLV) fosters student exchanges between DRAC universities. Via CADE, Universitat de València backs the exchanges in the form of public grants. - Accommodation database. Information on rented accommodation and student-shared flats.

Participation in Universitat: partnership and voluntary workThrough the Student Guidance and Promotion Centre (CADE), Universitat
de València Associations and collectives register of Universitat de ValènciaCADE runs a register of Universitat de València student associations and collectives as a way of determining the existing student association fabric and keeping the registered associations and collectives informed. Associations hotelEquipped with basic infrastructures and computer resources, these premises can be used by all the Universitat de València associations and collectives registered with CADE. Students willing to use the facilities shall produce proof of being a member in an association. Bookings can be made at CADE. Grants for student associations and collectives- Grant call for student associations and collectives for socio-cultural projects. - Grant call for student associations and collectives represented in the University Council. - Grant call for student associations, collectives, and Development NGOs for solidarity and cooperation projects. - Grant call for student associations and collectives for socio-cultural projects during the Welcome Week. Voluntary work programmes- Volunteer training programme. With a view to facilitating voluntary work among students and encouraging them to join associations and NGOs, this programme is organised during the first term. Fore more information, see www.uv.es/cade. - Taking voluntary work to the practice. Voluntary work can also be done within Universitat: • Cultural volunteers. Work is done in cultural activities organised
at La Nau building. For more information, see www.uv.es/cade. • Environmental volunteers. Volunteer work groups are organised. They work on environmental education, understanding nature, an environmental portal, and preparing botanic routes. The Language Policy Service fosters the training of volunteers to build a support network for the activities related to the use of Valencian. The Physical Education and Sports Service recruits volunteers to work in sporting events held during the academic year. For information, please call 96 398 32 36. • United Nations volunteers.
