SCHOLARSHIPS

Young parasitologists are kindly invited to participate in European meetings and to contribute to the development of Parasitology in Europe. To help and stimulate them in this way, the Council of the European Federation of Parasitologists (EFP), in addition to the Young Scientists Award, grants

 

34 EFP Student Scholarships

 

covering the Congress fees of the next European Multicolloquium of Parasitology (EMOP IX), to be held in Valencia, Spain, from 18th to 23rd July 2004.

 

APPLICATION

Candidates should be:

students and nationals of a country attached to EFP;

participate in research carried out at an European centre; research results will be presented at EMOP IX, either orally or by poster.

 

HOW TO APPLY

The application form (click below to get it on your desktop), duely filled and signed by both the candidate and the head of the department where the research was performed, must be forwarded to Prof. Dr. F. BRUSCHI, Vice-President of EFP, together with a copy of the abstract of the paper having previously been sent to the EMOP IX Secretariat before the abstract submission deadline of April 30, 2004. The student applicant must, moreover, have registered for EMOP IX before the registration deadline of April 30, 2004, having appropriately informed the EMOP Organising Committee that she or he is can applicant for a EFP student scholarship.

Applications should reach Prof. Dr. F. BRUSCHI  not later than June 1st, 2004.

GRANTS

Decisions will be made by the EFP Board within 15 days after the deadline of June 1st, 2004.

The names of the applicants having been selected for the grants of the EFP Student Scholarships will be published in the EMOP IX website not later than June 15th, 2004.

Those whose application is rejected will be informed by email.
