More good news confirming the high academic quality of the WOP-P Consortium, following the 1 st rank obtained some months ago by the Faculty of Psychology of Bologna among all Italian Faculties of Psychology (www.universita.it/tag/universita-bologna/page/2/).
THES is one of the most known world academic ranking. It is based on worldwide academic peer review (40% of the total score), employers review (10%), total citation count in the last 5 years sized for faculty (20%), student/faculty ratio (20%), international students & faculty (10%).
THES results have been published some days ago (www.topuniversities.com) : in 2009 the University of Bologna has been ranked 174 th (the first university in Italy , and within the top 2% in the world). According to single sector rankings, it was 72 nd in the "Social sciences" category.
