I am Elisabetta Quattrocchi and I was part of the Master Erasmus Mundus programme in 2014. My thesis focused on “The mediation effect of jealousy in the relationship between intra-sexual competition and harming at workplace”  under the supervision of  the Professors Pilar González-Navarro (University of Valencia) and Rosario Zurriaga (University of Valencia) as home tutors and the Professor  Carla Carvalho (University of Coimbra) as host tutor. Right now I'm in the UN Secretariat in New York and working with the Office of Human Resource Management, specifically in Learning, Leadership and Organizational Development section. In this section, I have an opportunity to apply my research skills by analysing both qualitative and quantitative data related to performance management, online learning experiences and design of new products. This is an exciting opportunity for me both personally and professionally to develop my network and contribute to UN’s global agenda. I strongly feel that I am part of a global team that fosters UN’s work, as Human Resources is one of the important engines of the organization.  One of the most exciting moments was when I helped organize an event when the Secretary-General Ban-ki Moon met with currently serving interns at the UN. For me, it was the most gratifying moment of meeting the SG so close. Imagine a world leader you see on TVs and in social media channels becomes real standing next to you.
