Opening Ceremony of the 10th Edition of the WOPP Master

 

On Monday 21th of September, the University of Valencia celebrated the opening of the 10th edition of the Erasmus + EMJMD in Work Organizational and Personnel Psychology. The opening ceremony was led by the Consortium Director, Jose Maria Peiro, with the participation of the coordinator of the University of Valencia WOPP and other professors from the University of Valencia who wanted to welcome the students.  After the official welcome session, the students were given a tour of the university facilities and were invited for a snack.

 

At this 10th edition of the WOP P Master, at the University of Valencia, the coordinating center of the Consortium, there are 22 enrolled students from 15 different countries, such as Indonesia, China, Spain, Greece, Lebanon, Iran, Turkey, etc.  

We take the opportunity to remind that EMJMD in Work Organizational and Personnel Psychology (WOP P) is a Master Program with duration of 2 years and 120 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), implemented in parallel in five different degree-awarding European higher education institutions: University of Valencia (Spain, coordinating institution); University of Barcelona (Spain); University of Bologna (Italy); University of Coimbra (Portugal); and University of Paris (France). In addition, two non-European partner institutions are members of the consortium: University of Brasilia (Brazil) and University of Guelph (Canada).

Due to its status of Erasmus + Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, WOP P Master answers to the European Commission´s requirements of excellence in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). In this sense, according to the European Commission, the Erasmus+ EMJMD Programs aim to:
  • Foster excellence, innovation, and internationalization in Higher Education Institutions
  • Boost the attractiveness of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and support the EU's external action in the field of higher education
  • Improve the level of competences and skills of Master graduates, and their employability
