Professor Dr. Robert Roe ( University of René Descartes-Paris V) will present a number of seminars during his visit at the University of Valencia:
Ethics and ethical dilemmas in professional practice of WOP.
The seminar deal wills the different ways to teach and develop ethics as part
of the professional values of work psychologists. We will report about
different kind of learning experiences used at the master level in Paris. The
question of the ethical training will be related to the individual values of
future work psychologists as part of their professional identity.
September 5th, from 12,00 pm to 14,00pm. Faculty of Psychology. University of Valencia
According to the reference model of the Master WOP-P, several good
practices and experiences are still used or will be implemented in Paris to
developed competences in different courses. Some of them will be
presented covering mainly basic (e.g.. Information handling,) and primary
competences (e.g.. Intervention,) of professional work psychologists.
September 7th, from 12,00 pm to 14,00pm. Faculty of Psychology. University of Valencia
The master thesis in year 4 is the key point of the training by research
traditionally developed in the Institute of Psychology (Paris V). Based on a
long experience the seminar will described the way to proceed the
different steps of the master thesis (choice of the topic, choice of the
supervisor, first draft,..). We will pointed out some difficulties frequently
observed in the process and clarify the different type of thesis.
