Short bio |
When I was almost 30, I stopped writing screenplays for
unworkable movies and playing drums. As a (not really fresh) freshman, I gave
my life a second chance in the local School of Economics. Much to my surprise,
I found that I could still follow my dreams in the academy. Believe it or not,
I got my PhD from the University of Valencia (Spain), when I was 35. Now I get
a salary from the University of Valencia for teaching. The Spanish R&D
National Plan (Ministry of Science and Education), the European Union, the
National Science Foundation, and the Regional Government of Andalucia
(Research Excellence Networks) very generously fund me to formulate new
questions, and look for some answers. My research fields are Behavioral
Economics, Game Theory, Public Economics and Organizational Behavior. If I know
something about strategic behavior, I learned it from Jordi
Brandts (now at the Autonomous University of
Barcelona, UAB) and Gonzalo Olcina (University of
Valencia). The usual caveat applies.
