Research
I am a specialised laboratory technician in Clinical
Diagnostic and at the moment I am in my second year of
nursing studies.
Since 1999 I have been working in the Department of
Physiology at the University of Valencia with a Spanish
support grant for research. Right now I have a contract as
an Administration and Service employee of the University of
Valencia.
During these years I have been trained in different
techniques and I am very keen on:

Spectrophotometry

Tissue cultures
-
Western Blotting
-
Fluorimetry
I am the supervisor of three different research
equipment units:
-
The Flor Cytometer which measures mitochondrial membrane
potential, peroxides levels, calcium, cellular cycle,
apoptosis and cell viability.

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) which measures
GSH, GSSG, oxo dG and MDA.
The Oxymeter which
measures oxygen consumption in mitochondrial extracts.
