Soraya
Vallés was born in Castellón, Spain. After pursuing her
studies in Biological Science at the University of Valencia,
she obtained her PhD in 1996, Dissertation: “Changes of
astroglia intermediate filaments gene expression during rat
brain development: Effect of alcohol exposure”, Supervisor:
Dr Consuelo Guerri. She held different postdoctoral positions.
