Police cooperation in the fight against drugs has been a great step forward in achieving the objective of reducing supply in the European Union. This paper addresses how the European Union through political instruments would create a network of cooperation and collaboration in this area, relying on the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice as a major structure that has allowed the development of Europol and its relationship with judicial cooperation and criminal harmonization of part of the crime of drug trafficking. full text
