YEAR 2009: 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth (12 February 1809) |
There are still many uncertainties about human evolution. Here some hypotheses:
0. In his 1863 Evidence as to Man's Place in Nature, Darwin's friend Thomas Huxley exaggerated the size of the Gibbon while presenting the anatomical argument explicit in the above frontispiece.
