Welcome to the new LINEEX webpage!
LINEEX is the Laboratory for Research in Experimental Economics.
We are located at the School of Economics, University of Valencia.
Since 1998, we have developed several research projects on the fields
of Behavioral and Experimental Economics.
The laboratory was fully renovated in 2005. We thankfully acknowledge the generous support
of the European Union. The new LINEEX consists of a main room with a 8x8 matrix of workstations
(the largest in Europe), an additional
computer room and 14 servers devoted both to computational and human subjects experiments.
In these five years, several researchers in Economics, Psychology, Business and Political Science
from all over the world have developed their research at LINEEX. Among many others, Jordi Brandts,
Marilynn Brewer, Rachel Croson, Margaret Foddy, David Cooper,
Rick Wilson, Catherine Eckel, Arno Riedl, Randolph Sloof, and Reinhard Selten have run experiments here.
LINEEX organize the International Meeting on Experimental and Behavioral Economics (IMEBE) meetings.
The 2008 edition of the IMEBE will be held at Alicante. We are also engaged in the organization of
an international workshop, the European Workshop on Experimental and Behavioral Economics (EWEBE).
The 2007 edition of the EWEBE was held at Lyon.
