Works-in-progress
“Legal reform in the Anglo-American legal tradition: the Codification movement in England, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand”. This topic constitutes part of a wider research project which led me to work at the Universities of Cambridge (2005), Harvard (2006-2007) and Merbourne (2008), where I dealt with the Codification issue in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. At Harvard Law School I worked on the codification of American law; the first part of this research was published with the title: “The Passionate Discussion among Common Lawyers about postbellum American Codification: An approach to its Legal Argumentation,” 40 Arizona State Law Journal 173 (2008), pp. 173-256; the second part has already been published with the title: “Defense of the Common Law against postbellum American Codification: Reasonable and Fallacious Argumentation”, American Journal for Legal History 50.4 (2008-2010), pp. 355-430. I have also given several papers on this matter in Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
