Two copies have to be sent by post to the address given below, together with the rest of  documents described in the next items, while one copy is to be kept by the student. Students with a foreign degree will be granted direct access to Postgraduate studies provided that an education level equivalent to the corresponding Spanish degree qualification is accredited and when the studies completed in the country of origin are also the ones required to gain access to postgraduate education. By  filling out and sending by post the Admission Application Form, you are also automatically applying for access to Postgraduate studies, thus, there is no need to carry out any other additional steps or procedures. Since this Master can be followed either at Valencia (Campus Universitat de Valčncia) or at Barcelona (Campus Universitat Pompeu Fabra), you should indicate your preference in the Application form (Item "Name of the Master"), by writing "Advanced Sciences of Modern Telecommunications - Valencia" or "Advanced Sciences of Modern Telecommunications - Barcelona".
  • Photocopy of Document accrediting the applicant’s nationality: Passport (foreign students), NIE (residents in Spain), DNI (in case of spanish students).
  • Validated/Stamped Photocopy or Original+Photocopy of the Certificate of degree qualification or equivalent academic level.
  • Validated/Stamped Photocopy or Original+Photocopy of the Academic records (transcript), issued by the university where the degree was completed. It shall include the official length of the degree with the number of academic years, courses completed, marks, and credits (teaching hours) of each course. If your transcripts are NOT in english or other official language of the European Union, it is strictly necessary to provide also an official translation to spanish (juridic translator or spanish consulates abroad or foreign consulate in Spain) of the various academic certificates/transcripts. In addition, if your degree comes from a University that does not belong to a country of the European Union, your transcripts will need to be legalized through the usual procedures. Please, read carefully this document about the Additional Requirements for foreign degrees. Additional details are also provided here (Further Instructions).
  • In case of foreign degrees that have been already validated by the Spanish Ministry of Education, or that have obtained a favorable Resolution by the Universities to access Postgraduate Studies, it is necessary to present a Validated/Stamped Photocopy or Original+Photocopy of the corresponding official Validation.
  • Accreditation of having a sufficient level of English in order to be able to follow correctly a graduate course imparted in English. A certain degree of flexibility will be allowed, namely, in case of not providing an accreditation, the Curriculum Vitae will be examined to evaluate approximately the level of English of the student, and if necessary, a personal interview with the candidate will be performed in English. Examples of several possible valid accreditations: 1) First Certificate in English, b) Certificate of Competency in English (ECCE), Universidad de Michigan, d) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 213, e) International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of 6.5, f) Having followed undergraduate or other Master courses in English previously, g) a personal interview by phone.
