All the courses where there are students registered from both UVEG and UPF, will be offered through video-conference, so that students can follow all the classes by staying at only one university. Therefore, for each course, those students staying in a campus different from the one where the professor is teaching, will follow the course through video-conference.

In addtion to the regular courses that will be offered, there is also a set of research topics available for the students undertaking their Master Thesis. These topics allow for both fundamental and applied research, as well as technology transfer, depending on the case . These research directions will be availabe for two purposes: a) research work to be done during the Master Thesis, b) for those students deciding later to pursue a PhD. within the Doctoral Program "Information Technologies, Communications and Computational Mathematics" of Universitat de Valčncia or the Doctoral Program "Information, Communication and Audiovisual Technologies", where the Master Thesis will be ideally a preliminary work for the subsequent PhD. research.

This is a preliminary list of updated generic research topics that are available for the students: Research Topics

This Master is also part of the Activity Program of the CONSOLIDER Project "COMONSENS"

"Foundations and Methodologies of Future Communication and Sensor Networks" (Consolider CSD2008-00010)
