Conferencia de alto nivel del programa ESPON

 

 

El programa European Spatial Planning Observation Network (ESPON) celebrará una conferencia de alto nivel en Bruselas, el día 11 de mayo de 2011. La inscripción, gratuita, se cerrará el 29 de abril de 2011.

The ESPON Programme invites for its first High Level Conference “Targeted Analyses for Stakeholders: Territorial Evidence in Practice” which will take place on 11 May 2011 in Brussels (Belgium).

The conference will discuss the use of territorial evidence in practice on the basis of the experiences with Targeted Analysis for Stakeholders.

At the event key policymakers in the field of Territorial Development and Cohesion will be present, amongst whom Mr. Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Regional Policy, and Mr. Claude Wiseler, Luxembourg Minister for Sustainable Development and Infrastructures.

The objective of the Conference is to bring European policymakers and Stakeholders involved in ESPON Targeted Analyses at national, regional and local level together with the purpose of:

  • Exchanging experiences on added value and use of evidence provided by Targeted Analyses
  • Pinning down future needs for evidence in support of an effective implementation of EU Cohesion Policy post 2013
