Damos difusión a la información recibida del Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial, sobre el anuncio del primer foro del proyecto AmpliFIRE, que se celebrará el próximo 24 de octubre de 2013 en Gante (Bélgica). La misión de AmpliFIRE es apoyar a la comunidad científica de Future Internet Research and Experimentation (FIRE) para preparar y reforzar la explotación y capacidad de impacto de las instalaciones dedicadas a este tema de investigación para el año 2020.

[Save the Date] Pre-announcement for Shaping Future Internet Research and Experimentation for Horizon 2020 - October 24th, 2013 - Ghent

We are pleased to announce the first FIRE Forum, to be held at i-Minds in Ghent, Thursday, October 24 from 09.00 to 18.00. The whole FIRE community is invited as well as other relevant communities interested in Future Internet Research and Experimentation.

A Keynote speech by Mario Campolargo (tbc) will open the Forum. Several panels will be proposed on the Future Internet research and experimentation challenging scenarios for 2020, facilities and services evolution, and how to bridge the gap between demands and facilities in H2020. Several Commission Units will express their priorities towards 2020. Room will be given to discussion and networking all along the day.

The first version of the AmpliFIRE project's Vision 2020 report provides the central themes for the FIRE Forum and we ask the FIRE and other relevant communities to join us for these discussions and provide us with their feedback to shape the 2020 vision.
