ROUTE 2011, an international workshop on vehicle routing, intermodal transport and related areas, will take place at Hotel Antemare on SITGES, Barcelona, Spain, May 31-June 3, 2011. The workshop is supported by the Technical University of Barcelona, the University of Valencia, and the University of Brescia.
Hotel Antemare is a 4 star hotel located in the residential area of Sitges and just 50 metres from the beach. Sitges is a small and beautiful town on the Mediterranean coast around 40 Km south to Barcelona. There are many trains and buses connecting Sitges and Barcelona (and its airport, which is 30 Km north to Sitges).
The workshop aims to provide a forum for scientific exchange and cooperation in the fields of vehicle routing, intermodal transport and related areas. As in the previous editions of the workshop, hosted in 2000 and 2003 by the Technical University of Denmark, in 2005 by the University of Bologna, in 2007 by the Georgia Institute of Technology, and in 2009 by the Technical University of Denmark, to keep the workshop rather informal and to encourage discussion and collaboration there will be a limit of 30-35 presentations organized in a single stream. The participation is by invitation only.
The workshop will start on Tuesday, May 31, in the late afternoon with registration and a welcoming reception and a dinner and will end on Friday June 3 in the afternoon.
Participation in ROUTE 2011 is BY INVITATION ONLY.
