CIGE/2021/167 Automated Cromatic Contrast Sensitivity Function
Development of a new psychophysical test to measure contrast sensitivity to chromatic and achromatic stimuli to evaluate functional losses in visual pathologies.
Characterization of Visual Function in Patients with Parkinson's Disease and Implementation of a Visual Perceptual Learning Program
The characterization of visual function in patients with Parkinson's Disease will involve understanding in detail how this condition affects the vision of these patients and what difficulties they face in their daily lives. On the other hand, implementing a perceptual learning program will provide optometric assistance to slow down or maintain the visual deterioration experienced by these patients.
Design, implementation and validation of a device for early detection of visual pathologies, based in achromatic and chromatic contrast sensitivity measurements in the spatio-temporal domain
Development of a contrast sensitivity perimeter, with stimuli favouring the responses of a single mechanism (achromatic, red-green or blue-yellow), using chromatically and spatio-temporally tuned stimuli.

Natural Language Processing Tool for Promoting Adherence to Home Rehabilitation
This project pursues the integral development of a conversational agent (chatbot) that monitors remote physiotherapy treatment through an instant messaging service by means of a simulated conversation that is similar to natural language, automated, and that reminds, informs and instructs the patient on when and how to perform it. In this way, it is intended to facilitate compliance and encourage adherence to home treatment of EMS disorders requiring physiotherapy care. The proposal includes the design of the intervention, implementation of the tool and validation with a clinical trial. The target population for the experimental study will be elderly patients with the aim of ensuring compliance and adherence to remote physiotherapy interventions, therefore improving clinical outcomes, increasing quality of life, limiting travel, optimizing physical and human hospital resources, and reducing social and health care costs.
Optimization, fine tunning and development of an industrial prototype of the double-modulation ATD perimeter for use in clinical practice
Developement of the industrial prototype of a contrast sensitivity perimeter, based on stimuli favouring the achromatic, red-green and blue-yellow mechanisms, by the choice of the color and spatio-temporal profile of the stimuli. Obtention of the normal database. Analisys of pathological subjects (glaucoma and ocular hypertension).
Social epidemiology of suicide-related 112 calls during COVID-19 crisis: A Bayesian spatiotemporal approach
The aim of this project is to analyze the spatiotemporal variations of 112 calls related to suicide in the Valencian region and evaluate the impact of COVID-19.
