Mari-Luz Martínez Marco

VC (79K) She has a Master's in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Molecular after having graduated in Chemistry (University of Valencia). After having worked on plasmonic nanostructures for sensing applications at Valencia Nanophotonic Technology Center she is currently working in metallic nanostructures and pursuing a PhD at Intenanomat S.L whilst collaborating with the UMDO group. She is synthesizing and characterizing metal nanoparticles for different applications and is generally interested in researching plasmonic nanostructures with techniques such as SEM, FTIR, UV-VIS spectroscopy, and AFM.

Alberto Maulu

VC (79K) He has a Master in Materials Science (University of Torino, Italy). After working on the synthesis and characterization of structural and optical properties of phosphors of yttrium oxyortosilicates doped with terbium, he has joined our group, being his work focused on preparation and characterization of photodetectors based on colloidal PbS quantum dots.

Diana Fragua Cabrera

VC (79K) In June 2011, she obtained a Santiago Grisolía grant, from the Generalitat Valenciana, to study the influence of plasmonic layers of TiO2 with metallic nanoparticles on the efficiency of photovoltaic and photoconducting devices. She completed her Masters in Advanced Physics, specialising in photonics, with a work defended in September 2012 (mark 9/10) on Preparation and characterization of of plasmonic layers: Nanoparticles of Au in ZnO matrices.
