Currently, the Radioactivity Environmental Laboratory of the Universitat de València has the following units, located at the Jeroni Muñoz Research Building:
- Physical-chemical and Radio-chemical Laboratory: In this laboratory, we make the physical preparation of samples, the separation of different radioisotopes and the preparation of standard samples. The physical-chemical laboratory is equipped with desiccation stoves and muffle furnace.
- Laboratory of Counting of Low Background. Here, the radioactivity measurement equipment is located: proportional counters, liquid scintillation counters and solid ZnS scintillation counters.
- Laboratory of Gamma Spectrometry. Location of the gamma spectrometry equipment.
- Laboratory of Alpha Spectrometry and Rn-222 Measurements. Location of the equipment of alpha spectrometry with Si detectors and the detectors of INa solid scintillation.
- Staff offices.
- Samples storage. Equipped with fridges and freezers for the preservation of samples.
