More than 40,000 students start the lessons at the UV. Out of this figure, 39,629 correspond to undergraduate degrees (former plans as well) and 2,784 correspond to post-graduate degrees. The classes for all postgraduate degrees start up this Monday, 15 September, whereas the Master’s Degree classes will begin in a progressive way from now. The opening ceremony was held last Friday 12 September at La Nau.

The 38,629 undergraduate students are distributed among 53 degrees, in six double degrees, and still a minority of students in former plans. Out of the 8,520 first year places offered by the UV in the 2014-2015, the 98,46% are already covered (with formal enrolments), and a little more than a hundred of places are still due to be assigned, which could be still covered because the period of enrolment is not totally closed.

The second phase of enrolment is still due to be carried out for Master’s Degree students (those who have made the pre-enrolment before September the 2, and who will perform the formal enrolment between the 25 and the 30 September). Without counting this second phase, 2,784 students are already enroled in the 110 programmes offered by the institution. From these 110 programmes, 27 are joint degrees with other universities (Spanish or foreign).

On the other hand, the pre-enrolment for the Doctoral studies for the academic year 2014-2014 will be opened until 1 October . The offer of Doctoral studies is of 59 places.
