Carmen Alborch will be the person in charge of giving the main conference of the XXI Informative Session to counsellors, directive teams and teaching staff of the secondary schools, on Tuesday 24 January, at 10:00h in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
The opening of this XXI edition is carried out by the principal, Esteban Morcillo; and the vice-principal of Studies and Language Policy of the Universitat de València, Isabel Vázquez. The first conference (‘Las virtudes cívicas y la experiencia’) will be the one given by the politician, writer and professor Carmen Alborch. Then, there will be a round table based on experiences ‘Acompañamiento among iguales e incorporación en la Universitat de València’, with the participation of the professor and coordinator of the Entreiguals Programme in the Faculty of Physics, María Jesús Hernández; the researcher in training and former mentor of the Faculty of Physics, Jorge Sola; and the student of Medicine and mentor, Beatriz Atienza. The round table will be hosted by the representative of students of the Universitat de València, Jordi Caparrós.
To conclude the session, the vice-principal Isabel Vázquez will give a speech about ‘Reválida, acceso y admisión: un largo proceso para llegar en su punto de partida’. There are 365 participants registered for this session.
On the other hand, the centres and services of the UV are ready to receive students of bachillerato and higher level training cycle that will participate in the visits the days 14, 15 and 16 February. There are more than 14,000 future undergraduate students registered.
