More that 250 economists gather today in the faculty in the Meeting for the 25 Anniversary of the class of the 1985-1990 and before

More than 250 economists gather today, Friday 27 November, in the Faculty of Economics in the Meeting for the 25 Anniversary of the class of the 1985-1990 and before. In the act, the classes of economists who finished their studies from 1971 to 1990 and did not receive this commemoration at that time will be represented.

The Meeting will start at 19:00. The presidential table will be formed by José Mauel Pastor, dean of the Faculty of Economics; Pedro Cillero, vice-secretary of the Faculty and degree holder of the graduating class; Pilar Catalán, chief of the Office of Secretary in the Faculty of Economics; Francisco Pérez, graduate of the Faculty and director of Ivie; Ernest Cano, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and degree holder of the graduating class, in the field of economics; Ana Ibáñez, also from the class in the field of business; and Luis Aznar, also graduate and president of Fundación Cañada Blanch.

Furthermore, Javier Quesada, representing the professors, and Rafaela Pizarro, representing students who graduate, will say a few words to the audience.

Those who were deans of the Faculty of Economics and Business Ángel Ortí, Enrique Bigné and Màximo Ferrando; and directors of the University School of Business Studies Ramon Torcal, Fernando Peris, José Luís Monzón and Amparo de la Torre, as well as the former dean of the Faculty of Economics, Vicente Soler, will be present in the act.

The Cor Juvenil of the Unió Musical de Picanya will open the act performing ‘Veni Creator’ and close the ceremony with ‘Gaudeamus Igitur’.
