The new academic year starts and InfoUniversitat, the weekly digital newspaper of the Universitat de València, returns. The data of the academic year that now starts are the focus of one of the newspaper’s information. Also the women and mathematics, the welcome to the new Erasmus students or the presentation of the À Punt Mèdia image at the Botanical Garden. Lucía Sanus gives an interview on the relationship between women and mathematics. She is one of the organisers of an important congress of young people who do research in mathematics. This issue also includes the welcome events for the Erasmus students in the Universitat de València, which is the second most important European university when it comes to this programme.
The basic information of the new academic year (2017-2018) is included in this issue. This confirms that the Universitat de València is the Valencian society’s favourite.
Finally, the Botanical Garden of the UV hosted on Tuesday 12 the presentation of the corporate image of the future Valencian radio and television. The video of this event is included in InfoUniversitat.
