Professors and students of the Universitat, principals in the International Festival of Educational Cinema

The International Festival of Educational Cinema (MICE), organised by the association Jordi El Mussol, and that this year celebrates its 4th edition, has given a principal role, for one more year, in the Universitat de València. Members of the Universitat not only have participated as jury members and of the talk, but the students have participated too as volunteers in the festival organization. Moreover, Espai Cinema, a project of the Faculty of Teacher Training dedicated to audiovisual education, has had its own space.

This way, the universities representatives to the jury have been Jesús Alcolea (dean de la Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences ), Ricard Huerta (member of the Institute of Creativity and Teaching Innovations) and Noelia Ibarra (vice-dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training ), while in the round table have been presented Francesc Hernàndez y Dobon (Head of the Insitute of Creativity and Teaching Innovation).

The coordination of this table has gone to Paula Jardón (vice-dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences) and prime mover of the collaboration of the Universitat with the MICE. 

At last, 55 of the students who are member as volunteers of the festival organization, come not only from degrees related with teaching world, but other like philosophy, medicine, journalism, English studies, economy of audiovisual communication.
