The Universitat de Valencia launches the first edition of the e2 Programme, which is intended to foster the entrepreneurial spirit and to train the student body of any degree of the Universitat de València in the creation of business initiatives with the support of regional entrepreneurs. The deadline to receive applications is the 18th September and it is addressed to students from any area of expertise of the Universitat de València who have an entrepreneur business idea. The students who are interested must submit an application through the form available in http://www.e2.cise.es/
The e2 Programme lies in the creation of multidisciplinary groups of students from different areas of expertise. Each group must select a business idea and work on it independently under the guidance of a student - tutor (already selected) and an entrepreneur - mentor.
Such programme starts in September and finishes the following December. The participants will take several training courses throughout these months. The courses are related to the setting up of a firm (definition of the business model and its validation, basic knowledge of the marketing and the economic-financial plan and guidance to make a good pitch in front of investors.
E2 in Valencia is an initiative designed by the Santander International Entrepreneurship Centre (CISE). it is supported by the Banco Santander through the project Santander Universidades and promoted by the Valencian Government and the five public universities of the Valencian Community. E2 is developed at the Universitat de València within the framework of the entrepreneurship program Empren+ and it counts on the Faculty of Economics' cooperation.
The e2 program offers up to 30 hours of free training related to leadership, team management, business model development, creativity, communication and negotiation skills, counselling and mentoring from experts and entrepreneurs as well as useful tools for each team to develop their business idea. Access to experts with a high level of innovation, development of business models and marketing and team management are also offered, as well as the chance to live a unique experience and to develop transversal competences and skills that will favour the participant’s employability and their connexion with business setting, just as their interaction with students from different degrees.
Applications and submission deadlines:
In this second stage of the e2 enterprising people from different degrees with a business idea will be selected. The aim of the programme is to form a sum of 5 multidisciplinary groups that will develop a business idea, always with the help of a student - tutor and an entrepreneur - mentor.
