Universitat de València looks for new musicians for its Orquestra Filharmònica

Orquestra Filharmònica of Universitat de València, under the conduction of Hilari Garcia.

Orquestra Filharmònica of Universitat de València opened, one more year, the period to incorporate new musicians. To take part of Orquestra Filharmònica of Universitat de València it is necessary to pass some entrance examinations that this academic year will take place from 19th October.

Interested people cannot be over 23 years old and must study, at least, the last years of the professional degree in music. Studying university studies will be positively valued. Entrance examinations for violin, viola, cello, double bass, trumpet, bassoon, and harp are called.
 
The registration is totally free and must be carried out through the form of the web http://www.uv.es/pam, or by phoning the office of the Trust for Musical Activities of the General Foundation of Universitat de València, 96 398 30 71 and 96 398 31 96, before the 16th October.
 
Since its creation in 1985, Orquestra Filharmònica of Universitat de València has become one of the most relevant orchestras in the Spanish university scene. Each year it incorporates new students and provides a teaching of great quality in orchestral interpreting to the 80 young students that integrate it. The orchestra is conducted since 2011 by Hilari Garcia. 
 
Orquestra offers to its members financial support for musical training, teacher and musical training, soloists promotion and chamber ensembles, the possibility of a national or international tour and academic recognition for Universitat de València students (5 free-elective credits/2 ECTS credits per course).
