At the hall of the Faculty of Teacher Training you can visit the exhibition "Ovidi Montllor i la canço compromesa” (Ovidi Montllor and the compromised song), collective exhibition created by the members of the Apiv (Professional Association of Valencian Illustrators), as well as some selected EASD students from Castellón. It includes 56 works inspired by singer-songwriter’s lyrics from all over the world and throughout time, such as eorges Brassens, Chicho Sánchez Ferlosio, Pau Alabajos, María del Mar Bonet, Silvio Rodríguez, Chico Buarque or Anne Clark, among others. This year is the 20th Anniversary of the singer from Alcoy, Ovidi Montllor’s death, one of the greatest exponents of the so-called new song, reason why we want to make an homage to his figure and to the singer-songwriters; music which overlaps music and literature, which profoundly respects its public and which arises from social compromises, the need to report, solidarity and the longing for a hopeful future. The launching of the exhibition will take place on 5 October at 11:00 and will be open until 30 October.
