Agenda UV

This Congress constitutes a reference event for all researchers who work on the area of Language and Literature Teaching both at national or international levels at all educational levels, since 1991. With a constant periodicity throughout over 20 years, it represents the eldest Congress in the fields of knowledge and, for the first time in its history it will take place in Valencia and it will be organised by the UV and the UPV, according to the spirit of the Campus of Excellence.

The Congress is headed by Josep Ballester (full-university professor at the UV) and Marisa carrió (Director of the Department of Applied Linguistics, UPV) and the secretaries are Noelia Ibarra (Vice-dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training, UV) and Francesca Romero (Vice-principal of Teaching Innovation at the UPV).

The congress’ opening will be on Wednesday19 at 9:30 and will count with the presence of the two Principals (UV and UPV), it will be followed by the inaugural conference by professor Ken Bain, future doctor honoris causa of the UV. Among his conferences, we could highlight the one carried out by Professor Kristi Jauregui, full-university professor and director of the magazine ‘Comunicar’ (only Spanish magazine included in the JCR 2014 index) and Doctor Maria Amor Pérez Rodríguez as well as the closing conference spoken by Doctor Laura Borràs, head of the ‘Institució de les Lletres Catalanes’.

The Congress will count with the participation of over 400 already confirmed attendants from different countries (Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Italy, France, Norway, Belgium, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Brazil, Portugal, China, Nairobi…) with plenary sittings and simultaneous communications by prestigious national and international specialists.
