Third Edition of the 2017 VLC-BIOMED programme, whose objective is to promote research and knowledge transfer collaborative actions between researchers/professionals of the Universitat de València and the Foundation for Research of the Hospital Clínico Universitario (University Clinical Hospital) of Valencia-Institute for Health Research (INCLIVA), through the financing from both preparatory activities and development projects that already have preliminary firm results and with transfer potential.

ACTIONS OF THE 2017 VLC-BIOCLINIC PROGRAMME

Subprogramme A. Grants for carrying out exploratory activities for the formulation of new innovation projects in cooperation UV-INCLIVA, with a total budget of 40,000€ and in which preparatory actions of new projects will be financed, until 4,000€ per proposal.

Subprogramme B. Grants for the development of joint innovative projects, based in some results of preliminary experiences already proven and that show transfer potential to the health system, with a total budget of 40,000€ and could be financed until a maxim of 10,000€ per proposal.

The announcement of the call is scheduled for the last week of July and will end in September 2017.

PRESENTATION PERIOD FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR PARTNER SEARCH

Between 11 and 26 July 2017, those researchers/professionals from both entities whose proposals require a partner in the other entity will be able fill in their Expressions of Interest through the web page, briefly describing the idea and the partner profile they need.

Likely, the published ideas that are looking for a partner can be checked at www.vlc-bioclinic.es/busqueda-socios/.

With the received expressions, from the Research and Innovation Service of the UV and INCLIVA’s OTRI, it will be carried out a search among the researchers/professionals from both entities in order to provide projects with the contact data of possible partners.
