Book launch: "La batalla por Valencia, una victoria defensiva"

2013 marks the 75th anniversary of the Battle for Valencia, and this is why the CEV has organised the "IV Ciclo de excursiones dedicadas a la Guerra Civil" (4th series of hikes on the Spanish Civil War), visiting some of the places that witnessed this bloody fight. The series is completed with this presentation.
Edelmir Galdón, the book's author, and Rafael Cebrián, author of many books on hiking and mountain guides, will participate in the event.
The development of the battle for Valencia is often considered as a peripheral event in the conflict. This book is original because the author recovers the war scenes and then examines the critical reconstruction of the strategy of a battle that is often overlooked, even though it was important for the survival of the Republic
