The Universitat de València, within the programm EMPREN + by the Office of the Vice-principal for Research and Science Policy, has opened the period to participate in the third edition of the 5U-CV START-UP COMPETITION, an initiative thought to promote the innovation culture between university members and destined to stimulate both projects and start-ups. The proposals could be submitted until 8 September.

This competition is developed in parallel in the five public universities, in the framework of the Campus del Emprendedor Innovador (Innovator Entrepreneurial Campus) programme, supported by the Valencian Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerçe and Work. The objective is generating new business projects, developing the entrepreneurial capacities and promoting innovation culture in the Valencian university field.

The competition, which establishes the categories of Start-up and Start-up Junior, will deliver a total of 20,250 euros in prizes among the winners of the five public universities.
