Course. Open enrolment with recognition of two free-election credits.
The course uses the theoretical principles of Critical Pedagogy and Cultural Studies, which presents concisely, in order to develop the students’ critical thinking using the directed commentary of a series of literary text of a wide variety of genres, as well as films. The subjects that structure the course are the following: Environment (or Ecocriticism), Human Geography (or Geocriticism), feminism (and Gynocritics), homosexuality, race and mass media.
