Trip on 18 February

Sagunt, located to 25 km. north of Valencia, is the capital of the Camp de Morverde region. It is located on the banks of the Palancia River and it has a strategic position geographically speaking.

Its historical importance is evidenced by its more than two thousand years of existence. As a city that has hosted many cultures (Iberian, Roman, Islamic, Christian and Jewish), it preserves a valuable historical heritage like its Roman Theatre, the Roman Road or the Jewry.

In addition, it keeps an important industrial heritage as a result of its period as a developed iron and steel city in the port area.
