Feminist reflections on maternity
«La Nau de la Igualtat» is a space for debating about the key elements of the feminist thinking with the aim of progressing to achieve more agreed positions that favour fight and social conquers in equality matters. In this occasion, we will debate about maternity.
Is maternity a trap that generates gender gaps (wage, child care, time, pensions...) of which we must therefore run drastically?
Or, on the contrary, we have to live the experience intensely and extend breastfeeding and care without caring about the impact this dedication could involve?
Which child care and co-responsibility models do exist in Europe in order to face the attention of descendants avoiding its negative impacts in the working level?
