Three consecutive days for three musical sessions of three different styles: folk, pop and singer-songwriter. Three, yes,

three for the two meanings of a same word: people guests in other people's houses, people that guest other people in their

home. This, no more and no less, is 'Hostes' (guests) (of the lacasacalba.org); a welcoming proposal for Spring; three for a

new lexical unit: 'hostes' (guests). This year will be the second edition and will take place in the "Octubre" Contemporary

Culture Centre in Valencia.

ALJUB (Mediterranean folk)

Joansa Maravilla is the alma mater of Aljub, a band that published last year what can possibly be their best work, 'En

Minúscules', both for their search of new sounds scrabbling in the Valencian and oriental tradition, as well as sound quality and the detailed edition in CD/Book format. On the other hand, this production surrounds itself with three veteran musicians who work normally work in the world of jazz and music. The band is composed of Andrés Belmonte (flutes), Alex Cesarini (double bass) and Josep Pérez (singer, large guitar and percussion). And directed by Joansa Maravilla himself at the strings and percussion). It's the premiere and official presentation of the album, in Valencia..
