Hostes Festival of the casacalba.org: Mi#

Place: "Octubre" Contemporary Culture Centre (OCCC), Sant Ferran street, 12.
Three consecutive days for three musical sessions of three different styles: folk, pop and singer-songwriter. Three, yes,
three for the two meanings of a same word: people guests in other people's houses, people that guest other people in their
home. This, no more and no less, is 'Hostes' (guests) (of the lacasacalba.org); a welcoming proposal for Spring; three for a
new lexical unit: 'hostes' (guests). This year will be the second edition and will take place in the "Octubre" Contemporary
Culture Centre in Valencia. In live concerts they are energic and at the same time, surprising, mainly because of the insolent and surrealist lyrics of Josep Artés.
MI# (pop-rock)
This band coming from the "Ribera Alta" is part of the LaCasaCalba Ed. catalogue. Last year they produced their first album "Projecte Escolopendra", which did not get a proper presentation at the "cap-i-casal" (the capital of the Valencian Community, the city of Valencia). It will, therefore, the premiere! Mi# is Josep Artés, but as of this project are also members: El Beato (drummer), Grefu (keyboard and singer) Martín Martorell (bass and singer) and Raül Uberos (guitarrist)..
