To analyse the confrontation that exists in Latin America between two distinct models: a model based on the commitment to neoliberalism and the development articulated through free trade agreements with developed or Asian countries (Pacific Pact) and a model that stands for market socialism committed to endogenous development based on Latin American cooperation and that renounces to free market treaties as a paradigm of economic development.
