Mavi Dolç i Gastaldo Award for audio-visual works about linguistic equality and multilingualism.
Mavi Dolç i Gastaldo
(Valencia 1961 - Barcelona 2009)
A graduate of Universitat de València, she obtained a doctorate in Autonomous University of Barcelona, where she worked as a professor and researcher, and was especially dedicated to languages and the media. She was one of the driving forces behind Xarxa Vives d'Universitats, which forms part of Universitat de València. UV pays her a simple homage dedicating this award to her memory.
The Service of Linguistic Policies (SPL) wishes to award audio-visual works which contribute to equal linguistic rights of Valencian and to promoting multilinguistic values in all environments, paying special attention to academic teaching.
