Registration deadline open for the Master’s Degree in Criminal Mediation organised by the University Institute of Criminology and Criminal Sciences.
The career opportunities this Master’s Degree offers are the following:
• Training to act as a mediator in criminal mediation programmes in courts and tribunals and in penitentiary facilities; participating in the alternative resolution of conflicts in the intercultural, community, school and youth field.
• Analysing the application of restorative justice tools (within the framework of the alternative methods of conflicts resolution) to criminal justice, according to the legal framework, to the specific characteristics of the criminal mediation, to the figure of the mediator, the stages of mediation, its junction in the Spanish criminal process of adults and minors, the legal consequences of the repairer agreement and the mediation experiences, with special stress in the applied projection of the theoretical knowledge through practical cases.
