Synopsis: The opera singer Mary Blake flees poverty and seeks shelter in Blackie Norton, a businessman from San Francisco and provides her with a job. Inevitably, a close relationship emerges between them with is disapproved by the priest Mullin. Meanwhile, we are brought closer to the fatidic date of 18 April 1906, when a earthquake destroyed and wreaked more than 3,000 deaths.
All screenings will be in original version with subtitles with a presentation and a discussion
