Collaboration between the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law and the University of Valencia.

 

On the occasion of the signing of the collaboration agreement between the Max-Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law (Freiburg, Germany) and the University of Valencia, both institutions have prepared a series of activities aimed at disseminating their joint research trends and lines. The two directors of the Max-Planck Institute, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c.mult. Ulrich Sieber (Criminal Law) and Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Hans-Jörg Albrecht (Criminology) will provide a general approach on the issue of criminal justice in the age of globalisation. Each of them will provide an overview of the scope of their research and the recent lines of work of the MPI. The two representatives of the Agreement from the Max-Planck Institute, Dr. Teresa Manso and Dr. Michael Kilchling, will participate in seminars with groups of lecturers that integrate research projects of the University of Valencia in the fields, respectively, of post-criminal dangerousness and "Experiencia de las ADR, grupo medarb PROMETEO de excelencia" (Experience with ADR, medarb PROMETEO group of excellence).

Aimed at:

Students of Law, Business Administration and Criminology, lecturers and researchers from the Departments of Criminal Law and Procedural Law, members of the research projects on post-criminal dangerousness and ADR, and professionals in the field (lawyers, prosecutors and judges).
