Museum
Valencian, Valuable, Valued Touristic Landscapes

The Office of the Vice-Principal for Participation and Territorial Projection and the Agència Valenciana de Turisme (Valencian Tourism Agency) present this unique and original exhibition that will offer the visitor the possibility of participating in an approximate analysis of the Valencian Community’s landscape, as well as to transport to the different typologies of landscape that can be found in the Valencian territory. The exhibition aims at giving a view of the diversity of the Valencian landscape and how this traditional touristic resource in the Valencian Community can and must be taken care of as a source of economic, social and cultural richness.

Both the coast and the mountain are represented in the showing, which has different spaces according to the characteristics of the landscapes: fluvial, coastal, inhabited, industrial, historical, symbolic and wetlands. It runs through an “environmental landscape, which encompasses a mosaic of landscapes”.

Far from monotony or over-information, the showing offers visitors a series of interactive elements that make it enjoyable. Multimedia screens and games like puzzles or other to fit pieces make this exhibition a good option to visit with the family. Likewise, you can “touch” the different spaces, as well as “smell” the Valencian Community and discover the origin of the names of some towns.
