Linguist and professor of the Universitat de València, he stands out for his active defence on the active social use of Valencian and on the multilingualism values. The Universitat pays a tribute by carrying out these prizes in his memory.
The Language Policy Service (SPL) calls these prizes with the objectives of promoting the linguistic quality in the students’ academic projects, encouraging the academic use of Valencian and stimulating the use of English as a task for internationalizing the Universitat.
