The Employment Forum of the Universitat de València, organised by the Professional Placement and Careers Advice Monitoring Centre (OPAL) of this institution, celebrates its 10th edition at the three campus on the 24, 25 and 26 of November. Entrepreneurship and crowdfunding will be the main points of the 2015 meeting, that will be officially inaugurated on Tuesday 24 at 13:00 at the Faculty of Law (Tarongers Campus).
The Employment Forum of the Universitat de València opens its doors on Tuesday 24, from 10:00 to 17:00 at the Faculty of Law (Tarongers Campus); on Wednesday 25, from 10:00 to 15:00, at the Faculties of Nursery and Podiatry, and of Geography and History (Blasco Ibáñez Campus); and on Thursday 26, from 10:00 to 17:00, at the School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) and at the Faculty of Pharmacy (Burjassot-Paterna Campus).
More than 60 companies and entities from 24 different sectors of activity, will meet at the several stands installed, this year, at the Tarongers and Burjassot-Paterna Campus. The Blasco Ibáñez Campus will only host parallel activities to the Forum consisting in talks, conferences and round tables.
In fact, in Blasco Ibáñez the activity will be focused per topics, such as entrepreneurship and crowdfunding for the encouraging and support of innovative business project. Around fifty of these activities will be developed during the three days fair at the University.
Among them, it is important to highlight the conference titled “Emprendimiento y financiación en industrias culturales: presentación del programa de formación/aceleración del Cultural Industries Summit” by Intermedia Fresh Thinking, specialised entity in cultural and creative industries (ICC); and the round table on entrepreneurship presented by the Uniempren crowdfunding platform of the Universitat de València (www.uniempren.es) where Caminart, Geoturismo SLU and Marketingeo will participate to tell their entrepreneur experiences in Humanities. Both activities will take place at the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Geography and History, Blasco Ibáñez Campus, on Wednesday 25 at 10:00 and at 11:30 respectively.
On the other hand, on Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26, the Forum organisers will offer the conference “Encuentra y crea tu empleo con OPAL y Uniempren” (Find and create your employment with OPAL and Uniempren) -affiliated entities to the University of Valencia General Foundation-, that will take place at the Room Joaquín Tomás Villarroya of the Faculty of Law (12:00) and at the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy (11:00), respectively. In this way, the 10th Employment Forum of the Universitat de València aims to become a free training point.
The same day, at 12:00, the recruitment agency Uteach Limited, specialised in education, will participate at the School of Engineering-ETSE to offer more than 200 vacancy places for secondary education teaching staff at the United Kingdom.
The Employment Forum of the Universitat de València has the objective of creating a communication bridge between employers and future employees, and graduated qualified professionals, bringing the company and the university world closer. Its visitors will be able to exchange information face to face with the responsible people of each entity, give their CV and assist to the programmed free activities.
