The UV, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation and the Office of the Vice-Principal of Internationalisation and Cooperation continues with the Erasmus Programme in the Territory. In this 3rd edition has organised training pathways which allow to visit some Valencian towns that are models of their culture and heritage. These pathways are addressed to the students of the Erasmus Programme of the UV for the academic year 2015-2016. The routes, which have been designed along with the corresponding town councils, are characterised by their training vocation, where it is intended to educate Erasmus students on the heritage, cultural and landscape values of the Valencian geography. The Valley of Ayora-Cofrentes has historically been a borderland between the Reigns of Castilla and Valencia. The region bases its economy in agriculture and cattle industry. Ayora is the capital of the region and is important because of its apiculture production, traditional activity in this region and base of its economy. Cofrentes is located at the Embarcaderos reservoir, from where there are riverside walks along the river Jucar and it counts with the Resort Hotel ‘Hervideros de Cofrentes’, main touristic destination within the Valencian inlands.
