Universitat de València, through the office of the vice-principal for Territorial Projection and Participation and through the office of the vice-principal for International Relations and Cooperation, continues with the programme Erasmus at the Territory. In this 3rd edition the Universitat has organised some training itineraries that will allow for showing some Valencian towns model of its culture and heritage.

These itineraries are destined to the students of the Erasmus programme of the Universitat for the academic year 2015-2016. The routes are characterised by their training vocation, in which it is aimed to illustrate to students of the Erasmus Programme the patrimonial, cultural, and landscape values of the Valencian geography.

L’Albufera

This natural space –with an extension of 21.000 hectares– offers a great richness of landscapes and habitats of great environmental interest. It constitutes one of the most important westlands both of our country and of the Mediterranean basin. It is a Natural Park since 1986 and was declared “Special Protection of Birds Area” in 1989.

The lake has observed for centuries how its space was reducing in benefit of the cultivation of rice fields.

The Interpretation Centre Racó de l’Olla, the rice fields, the isle of El Palmar, etc. will be visited. There will also be a boat guided tour in through l’Albufera.
