The works of Irene Covaleda, exposed for the first time in Valencia, surprises us both by the use of materials such as acrylic, stamps or phone postals, as by the performance of her works that do not leave us indifferent by its beauty.

The artist express in her works problems considered by the current human being. In this way, the communication is a recurring theme, as well as the way to manage primitive feelings within the highest moral values.

In this exhibition, Irene opens the door to questions such as: how to communicate in a world with an excess of information and a culture of virtual communication? or: where are the looks, the caresses, the words?

'Notes al peu' is linked to the expression forms , where the freedom of action of the artist makes it really interesting, both by the use of different materials such as the different styles that are used.

The works on display have been developed related to Mail Art during the time of preparation of her doctoral thesis, linked to the Research Program in Artistic Production, which under the leadership of Vincent Ponce and Teresa Chafer, professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Sant Carles of the Universitat Politècnica de València, she is developing.
